Particle Seperation Systems was founded in 1997, subsequently renamed and re-registered as Particle Separation Systems Technologies (Pty) Ltd in 2002.

The company is in the process of purchasing two properties, one in Greenhills and one in Homelake and will be relocated to the new premises in 2012. The new premises comprises of a new MIR manufacturing facility, control panel manufacturing Facility, Belt / Screen filter cloth make up factory, test work laboratory and company offices.
